I liked it much better when the striped candies wiped out the row!! now it seems to do nothing

It happened with the last update, like it wants to be "smoother" but I just don't like it-
Could be a visual bug.
It still does it, but the visual effect is less than appealing- it doesn't look like it does anything
Hello @socal_nana Welcome to the community! In fact the behaviour of striped candies has not changed at all over the years in Candy Crush. I wonder if you are missing something, such as a blocker that won't allow stripes to get through (those black and red canes for example)? Perhaps you could tell us which level you are playing and where you are experiencing problems with the striped candies not wiping out a row? There will be a reason we might be able to explain to you.
