I really liked being able to earn gold bars, but that features seems to be gone now.
Hi everybody,
We have some good news on the issue with Episode Race disappearing from your games and or not receiving your Gold Bars.
The team is working on getting it back as soon as possible and there is a fix that will be roll out to Android soon so please keep an eye out for any updates. Next week, we will release the fix to the other platforms.
This means that if you currently have game app version 1.290.0.1, you won't see Episode Race until you upgrade to version 1.290.1.2 which will be out next week to all platforms.
(If you are playing on Facebook, there is nothing you need to do, it will get updated in automatically next week).

We are aware that some of you might have not received your Gold Bars winnings from the Episode Race and this is currently being investigated.
We are also aware that some of you also have lost the Race and this is also being looked at.

I bought something and then found the episode race is gone. I played on thinking it would reappear if I won but nope. 🤨

Liebe Kiara, danke für deine Nachricht, mit der Antwort gebe ich mich aber nicht zufrieden. Ich spiele schon viele Jahre und das Rennen war IMMER da. Ich brauche die Goldbarren um schwere Levels zu schaffen.
Ich war auch mitten im Spezial wo man Punkte sammeln kann wenn man das Level beim 1. Versuch schafft. Ich war auf Platz 1 und jetzt ist auch das einfach weg.
Das Funktionen einfach mal verschwinden habe ich bis zum ersten verschwinden des Rennens letzte Woche noch nie erlebt. Letztes Mal konnten die Entwickler auch etwas machen, das sollten sie jetzt bitte auch, ansonsten werdet ihr viele Spieler die auf die Goldbarren angewiesen sind verlieren.
Wenn das Rennen nicht wieder kommt spiele ich kein Candy mehr.
Wie kann das denn sein. Nach Jahren spielen und es NIE weg war ist es nun plötzlich weg. Ich spiele schon viele Jahre und das Rennen war IMMER da, bis jetzt.

Das Rennen ist seit eben wieder weg. Und das Spezial wo man Punkte bekommt wenn man beim 1. Versuch gewinnt auch. Da war ich auf Platz 1. Heute Vormittag ging noch alles.

Apart from the avatar issue, the other problem is the missing names for some of my friends. Their names used to there but not anymore.
There were times I received a live or a request for live that came without avatar and name. Anywhere, I just accept the request without knowing who it's from.

As for the missing avatar pictures, this is also a know issue which we will sort out during the next update 😊
Episode race has disappeared again this morning.
He wasn't using a phone. He was playing on a computer with the app installed from Microsoft Store. Anyway, it's now clear that the problem was on King's side.
First log out of your King Account . Next, Clear all cache in Candy Crush App. Best, deep clean your phone of all cache. Then, Power off your phone. Wait 10 seconds. Turn on phone. Go to game. It should be better.

I also dont have episode race as well. I didnt do any updates. Going off of where I left off I'm sure I won my race as well. Whats going on? First no more coupons in google play for the play points and now this. Makes me want to delete app

Same here. 3 races. I have an unbroken win streak of something like 140 something. Last 3 rounds, no race. No winnings. I think in these cases we should be compensated. This is nuts. That's a total of 120 gold bars I am down.
My game updated this morning and the episode race disappeared and still not returned also I log in and play every day the the login streak is stuck on 1227

The episode race disappeared after todays update. Playing on rhe king.com app .Seems as if they are taking everything slowly. As it seems they cannot fix the weekly contest after 3 weeks of trying and now you cannot win gold bars after 15 levels. Makes you want to delete the game as you cannot win anything anymore

Same here, I was on a streak, and 1st place and i didnt get any rewards. Starting a new episode and I dont see a race!!

I saw a complaint in Support area and same situation in my game as well!
Hi, that was my comment in support, I poted in the wrong place. In short I contacted King today and advised them that the Episode Race had gone missing after the update. They brushed me off and said there was nothing wrong on their end. Bottom line if you don't contact King directly and complain it won't be fixed.
This is so sad for me right about now 😭😭😭😭
I'm also not seeing the episode race anymore. I hadn't actually experienced the issue previously. It started for me just today.
