Don’t Feed the Troll no longer works on older levels!!!

I don’t believe any complaints about ‘don’t feed the troll’ will make any difference.
King know exactly what they’re doing and it’s about making a profit. Understandbly.
My only question is : by restricting players from playing, aren’t they losing out on the ad income ?

No, I believe this is by design. Maybe soon you can't play old levels for all new events. Guess what's next? They will give you something that everyone has been asking for, the goto level feature. LOL.
Seriously, I tried playing new levels at level 17000s yesterday with full win streak boosters and super colour bomb. I couldn't make it, not unless there is a factor of 30x like in some events. It took me 50 minutes and 1.5 episodes to collect 2500 orange candies.

That exactly mirrors my experience @quekkc To win this event with new levels you need to play more than one episode at most level ranges, but at those near the top of the game this is just impossible to do in 40 minutes real time. Those levels are full of features that slow play down: Order locks, sour skulls, layers of blockers that need to be cleared to get to keys to unlock the board etc. All this slows our games down so much that we can't compete in leaderboard competitions and can't beat the Troll. Anyone playing near the top of the game will know this. King know this.

Another awful decision made by somebody. Over the last 2years this game has become less appealing with lots of perks being stripped away and when you do manage to get say 5 mins of a board clearer at least 50% of that time is filled with distractions that nobody wants.
