They are running the entire game as a continuous test @Monique6876 : Every player gets a bespoke concoction of events and offers. Within the events the difficulty of achievement and the prizes are also adjusted to each player: Each one of us gets a different difficulty in our weekly race competition, the achievements we have to beat to win Candy Royale and the episode race, and each player gets different offers in the shop as well, prices for booster packages vary between groups of players. On top of all this some players get to see ads, and within the ads subgroup some get to see events like Sweet Cinema or the booster balloon, some don't, some get just extra moves offered and others get a UFO as well for watching a third advert. King then collect data from these multiple different test groups, on how much money is spent and how quickly we pass the episodes, statistics such as you can read on the player cards, and they input all this data into a computer to decide who gets which events, which prizes, which offers in the shop, and who gets adverts in next week's reshuffle. That's how the game works. So in fact King are correct in stating that it's all a test feature:
