Winter cup not working

3 hours to go and suddenly it stopped giving me points for killing blue balls when I won the game. After 2 games like this I went in and cleared the cash. Now it doesn't even offer to have me play the game. I can see it in Events but it won't let me click on it to play it. I am so close to winning this round which will be 3 wins in a row to qualify for the free gold bars for a year. This isn't fair! How do I fix this?

I'm sorry to hear that you are having some trouble in the Winter Cup. It sounds like you might be playing offline. Please make sure you are connected to your account, and your Internet connection is stable. If you log out and back into your account, the event might need some time to reappear. You can also try:- Please play 1-2 levels and go back to the map to see if it comes back.
- Check that your device timer (date/time) is set correctly. If, for any reason, the timer of your device has been modified, please try reverting back to the current time and date.

thanks for trying to help but I was definitely connected to the internet with a strong signal and connected to my account. I tried clearing the cash. Rebooting the game. Rebooting the whole tablet. I could play other games and get points and rewards. The Winter Cup was working fine then just stopped working. It let me play 2 games but not give me any points (that’s when I did all the steps I just described) and the game suddenly would not even let me have access to it to play it.
