Why is the Daily treat machine frozen after pushing start today so can’t play

A screenshot may not help much in this case. I attached the screen recording here to give you a clearer picture.
Someone having the same issue asked me for help but I couldn't solve the problem.
She has a similar problem on 3 mobile devices since yesterday. When I login her Facebook account on my desktop PC, the daily treat machine caused the game to hang and I had to close the browser. Logging-out and re-login doesn't help. Clearing the cache and restart the phone doesn't help either.
There is no issue at all when I login with my Facebook account. So, it's not the device problem.
