I have added some random friends when playing candy crush saga. These are not friends that I have on Facebook. How do I remove some of these friends that I have added?

This explanation doesn't work for me. The list does not have the Unfriend option at the bottom as in your example. I have a Friends list to request and give lives. Another Friends list is purely for information elsewhere on the links.

You wrote this in an old thread from 2022. The answer given in this thread was correct at that time. Now the game has changed. To remove a friend, go to the Friends tab, scroll down to find them, and click on their name to open their Player Card.
In the top left corner, click on the button that shows a figure with a '-' next to it. The pop-up will ask if you are certain. Click 'yes'.
List of friends does NOT appear here

when I click on my profile as suggested above, there is no friends list option as shown. HOW DO I REMOVE A FRIEND I NO LONGER WANT ON MY CANDY CRUSH SAGA FRIENDS LIST??!!
My random friend isn't listed and I want him deleted.
Click on you picture in the candy crush app and go to friends and delete

In the Weekly Contest, I have random names popping up as part of the contest. I would prefer the weekly contest to be with my chosen friends only. Why are random people included in the Weekly Contest when you already have chosen friends who you can play against? Also why do they not show on your friends list and where have all my friends gone?

You can remove your specific friend from your game and the steps are detailed below.
Click on your game avatar and go to Friends option.

Hi! To remove friends from Candy Crush go to your profile (where there are boosters) and click on "friends", all friends will appear and you can choose who to delete
