I care more about how hard it is to clear than how it looks.
I don't have the new design either. It's more important to me to create new levels without having to clear more things. The game has become very difficult and it's actually not my favorite game anymore. Please make it easier to create new levels. I always have to use a lot of boosters and am grouped with players who are beginners and are called "King something with a number". They are from my country and not in my list of foreigners. I'm inclined to give up the game and stop playing. It's really no fun anymore.

I preferred the old frosting design, bring it back!
On the plus side, the new design makes it easier to tell how many layers a piece of frosting has. The old design makes it hard for me to distinguish between 4-layer frostings and 3-layer ones.
The downside is that it doesn't even look like frosting, as Christine mentioned earlier. Although it may be stylish, it does not seem to match the rest of the game's style. In the early stages of the game, it makes the boards that have nothing but frosting more colorful, but unfortunately, it doesn't make them any less boring.
Finally, I would really appreciate it if King could address the numerous real issues the game has, rather than tinkering with its visual style. I know it's unlikely to happen, but I'll mention it anyway.
