Sorry you missed the finals, but to be fair you were 130,000 points behind the leader with 8 hours to go, so there was little chance you would have been able to overtake them to qualify for the final anyway. Only the first placed player qualified from the 2nd chance round.
A lot of players lose connection at times. You need to close down the app if you get this message. Close the app. Make sure you have internet connection and then reopen the app. Usually then it will load properly. You might need to play one level, old or new, pass or fail, for the events to come back.
