I have been playing and buying lollipops and just realized that I have been paying 29 gold bars for 3 of them. When did they go up and why? I was wondering how the amount of gold bars I had were decreasing so rapidly.

There is no need to be in a hurry to move forward in this game. If you ran out of boosters, take a break for a week or two. Check-in daily just to collect free boosters. Participate in some of the events, with old levels, to collect additional boosters. Use all your old phones, tablets, laptops and desktops to maximize your collections. Wait till you have sufficient boosters.
I have been playing since 2013 and never spent any money. The number of boosters just keeps increasing to the extent that I just ignore the ads which many are craving for.
I’m about to leave CCS after seeing this price hike. It shocked me when I bought 3 lollipops and cost 29 bars. I am just over 13k level on this game, and I think this is about it. I’ve never told my hubby (nor anyone else) how much I’ve spent on this game (has to be well over $2K), but this just floored me. You’d think you would award your good players, but this is too much. I’ll be going into withdrawal, but it will definitely help MY bank account. Enough is enough. Bye Candy Crush.

I guess because I don't buy boosters I'm having a hard time understanding the issue. I play a few games that have increased prices. Heck I used to play Farmville years ago and they went up on prices. I just stopped playing. My casino game chips went up last year but I am still playing I didn't write them and complain. I feel it's their game. Play as is or move on to another game that will make you happy.
Hello yes the price went up !!! It was 19 gold bars for free switch and lollipop hammers you would get 3. Now it's 29 gold bars for the same amount. At least give another one make it 4 for that price. What about all the posts that the weekly contest was never adding any levels . Was there any compensation for that? Nope!
Took a long break. After the nonsense with the episode race will be on another one til Jan.
I just checked and now in my newest game I have the 29 hammer/swap.

I think we should complain about this price hike to King @PummyRaj. As I mentioned in my other thread this price hike is not good for enjoyment of playing the game at all. It makes boosters too costly to buy in comparison to just replaying a difficult level a few times until we can pass with the extra moves for 10 gold. So the second method is now cheaper but using boosters to pass difficult levels is much more rewarding and fun. I think this really ruins the game.

I buy Free Switch more often as I use those frequently!
This happened either yesterday or today. The price of hammers and hands went up from 19 to 29 for three, from 109 to 119 or 169 for 20, depending on your luck (or your level).
I have noted a price hike in lollipop hammers, but only for the top players here:
I have always purchased free switch and lollipops for 19 gold bars for 3. I just lost 160 gold bars because there was no episode race. Now this. I am becoming very disenchanted with this game. It's ridiculous. The economy sucks enough of our money. Now our fun activity is stealing more. Please stop this King!
