Hi all, does everyone have this spearmint snowstorm in their games or they are to random ID's. The rewards are minor though. I find it hard to pass every level.

Basically,
Any level can be triggered as a "Hard" level, the ones where they say, you passed a hard level. Both the Alien Invasion and Spearmint Snowstorm trigger at least have of their levels as Hard. Also since a Hard level is designed to make you spend gold, unless you quite literally match the algorithm, there are no lucky levels usually, you are SOL. I am going to poke around the game code some and see what interesting stuff I can find.

Finally, I rather suspect this is a test for a new blocker type, like I suspect the rockets in Volcanic Panic were a test for the new fish. Not sure making the levels utterly insufferable to collect data is the good idea though.
Hello I have the same problem, I'm stuck at level 680, it's impossible if you don't have help and I don't have any ingots or items left. They've set it to normal and it should be legendary. I also can't find any thread that says moves to make it easier.
Well on the plus side, that does indicate when the next season should start, aka Mar 10.
Sorry about that. I haven't tried it myself this time, but it worked for me a few months ago. Maybe they've changed that.
I was also wrong about them having adjusted level difficulty to match the normal level. They have not! . I just played level 1475 and the snowstorm version required use of a UFO to pass first time, even with super colour bomb, starting and win streak boosters. I played the normal version on my other account, same boosters, and passed easily with 13 moves spare at the end. And then the snowstorm event showed up on that account as well, so now I'm stuck with it too.
This is the worst event ever!
I tried what you suggested. No luck. I'm stuck with this event for next 19days. I think I'll have to wait until this event disappear. Anyways thank you.

So I've at least got a chance to check through these levels and take some screenshots. So far they seem of variable difficulty. There are definitely some that are legendary, but I was pleased to see that the level replacing level 1385 was an easier one, which is only fair because the normal level 1385 is really easy. I don't know if this is a coincidence or if they are actually now replacing levels with similar difficulty Snowstorm levels. There's always something new to test out….

No, I don't see it, thankfully. And yes this is a hellish event that replaces easy go-to levels with impossible-to-pass ones at the end of episodes for a tiny reward after four or so episodes. If you want to get rid of it try to change the date back a few days before you approach the end of an episode. I found that this way the game puts the proper end of episode level back into my game, but make sure you change the date back as soon as you've passed the level. This would kick you out of any other events, but I don't think there are any at the moment, so you should be alright. The horrible snowstorm event will come back, but hopefully only until they come up with a new season of events.

this level is different to what’s on line. Need help with this level. No money or boosters. Help please.
Since the new update I think today as it looks a bit different, every time I play a level a booster gets taken automatically it checkmarks itself anyone else noticed this?
As soon as I got to this level it gave me an error message 'unable to win level' and kicked me out. I tried again a few times and same message. How do I get past this level? I read in a different comment on player page it needs yellow candies and no yellow candies show up?
It took over 400 gold bars to pass this level. How do I get some of that back? Totally ridiculous. If there are any more of those and I’m done.
