Responsibilities
King are a major player in the online games market. Therefore it has a responsibility for the welfare of players and how it conducts itself online. Having a community forum is one thing. But with no direct contact email to resolve issues and complaints simply is not good enough.
Candy Crush Saga. I am still on 5577, a "nightmarishly hard" level for EIGHT months.
No person should be forced to face playing the same level week in week out.
No person.
Waiting for the lucky board. Because in all truth, that is all the game actually is. No matter what level or rank of level, you can quit on average after just five lives because you can see it's a rubbish board. The mathematical chances of getting through are astronomically against you so, why would you continue?
Then there's the impact on mental health. I myself have autism. I am struggling to cope with the stress. The irony of the slogan saying "swipe the stress away" is in itself ridiculous.
Imagine someone with more serious disabilities in this situation.
This is why King.com fail in their public duty by making themselves unreachable, unanswerable for their actions.
For example, fill out the contact form and it's dealt with by an automation which just links you to this place.
That is no answer. The admin should be dealing directly with players, not passing the buck.
II had to search high and low for the address of the head office and ultimately a telephone contact number.
Tomorrow I will telephone the company as I want to issue a formal conplaint against King.com on the outstanding level 5577 and how they can justify any person being stuck on one level for two thirds of a year.
It's utterly disgusting and they are accountable and must be made to address this and any other issues players may have.

Well, no person is forced to face playing the same level week in week out. And on this fact hinges the entire complaint that you make above. Nobody is forced to play Candy Crush Saga! Anyone can just delete this game if they don't enjoy what it has become. I certainly will do so before long because I hate what they are doing to this game too. Thousands of players quit this game every day and King don't care because new ones join to take their place. Please remember this is just a game. Games are to be played for fun. If it's not fun find a different game that is fun. Sorry, but I don't understand why people get so upset about this game. IT IS JUST A GAME.
Throw a game you hate this much into the trash can and forget about it, please, everyone!
You are right in the fact that the ethics of how King run the game is questionable. I agree with that, but it's what happens in Big Business. Can you name many big business companies that takes care of the welfare of their customers? You might want to ask the president of the United States for some advice on that.

Of course they are!
What do you expect people to do, give up or go back a level?
Think about it!
So bizarrely today I just got through that level.
But that doesn't negate my concern in any way.
The ranking of levels are just as dumb.
A standard level can be like legendary and I've got through legendary levels first time or soon after, not just me I expect many of us have.
At least we can agree it's poorly run so far as admin ate concerned but with a community forum we are able to have a bloody good moan about it. 😅
