Why wasn’t I offered the usual things in a reasonable length of time?

I played about 14 levels tonight and was starting every round with 3 power bombs etc. It wasn’t until then that I was started on passing 20+ levels. I never saw the podium or got any of the extras for passing those levels or for the first win. I had almost made it to those 20+ levels and it was too late to start that journey over. It is 3 am here. So if I had started at the beginning, I would have continued, but I couldn’t go much longer so I gave up instead of continuing and when I go back to playing, it won’t be with 3 power bombs plus other things.
extremely disappointed. Getting all those levels again won’t be easy. What happened?

    Hard to say really @Suede22 but it doesn't sound like anything has happened other than a case of bad timing.

    The Candy Royale has a time limit and it sounds like you have played 14 levels whilst the Candy Royale was resting only to be offered the chance of the Triple Royale later.
