Do I get it to not automatically lose a game?

Every time I leave the app to go to another app, say WhatsApp when I get a message or call, it automatically loses whatever game I'm in so I have learned not to go until the game is over.

Today I was probably about 14 games into a 25 game streak, I think it's candy royal, and my phone rang with a call I had to answer. I had spent a few dozen gold to get this far and it just automatically lost me the game. How do I stop this from happening because I'm seriously ready to stop playing the game over it.

Please help!

Hi @Jessie24330, welcome to the community 😊

I understand how frustrating it must be to lose your progress in Candy Royale, especially after using Gold Bars to keep going. Unfortunately, when you leave the game whether to answer a call, check another app, or due to a connection drop, the game may register it as you leaving the challenge, which results in an automatic loss.

This happens because Candy Royale requires an uninterrupted session, and some devices might also close background apps to save battery, which can end your game session.

Here are a few tips to help prevent this from happening:

Try enabling “Do Not Disturb” mode before playing to prevent calls from interrupting the game.
Make sure you have a strong and stable internet connection to avoid any unexpected disconnections.
Keep Candy Crush Saga open and running until you finish the challenge—switching apps or answering calls might end your session.
If you're on Android, check your battery settings to ensure the game isn’t closed in the background:
Settings > Apps > Candy Crush Saga > Battery > Set to "No restrictions"

If the issue keeps happening, you might want to report it to Player Support through the in-game Help Center or this contact form.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you need more assistance. Wishing you better luck in your next Candy Royale challenge! 🍬✨

I am convinced that the similar problem I have is not due to internet connection or battery. I am convinced my problem is lack of adequate memory. Candy Crush Saga is an unbelievable memory hog. One would think that such a simple game wouldn't require so much internal memory, but clearly it uses way more than makes sense for such a simple game. I am running on a very inexpensive tablet, and it just doesn't seem to have the memory to be able to run Candy Crush plus any other app. This causes problems with ads - if I accidentally click such that I open the browser to show an ad, it can often kill Candy Crush. After watching ads in Sweet Cinema, I often make it a point to close everything and then reopen Candy Crush to keep it from crashing while actually playing levels. Very frustrating, and kind of detrimental to the effectiveness of the ads in the game; you'd think they would want to fix it, but I'm guessing it would be a lot of work to cut down the memory usage as they should.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
