I suspect you cannot go into details one way or the other but is the team thinking more customization of the avatar window?

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, the level milestone banners have been removed from our avatars as part of a test. The team is experimenting with different visual updates, and I’ll be sure to share your feedback with them.

@QueenB What is going on?
The community is made up of people that play the game and not King employees. My best guess is that they removed the banners so that there will not be so many complaints when All Stars starts about the unfairness of being matched with players that are not on the same level. This happens in a lot of contests - level 1000 playing against level 8000 and 17000 players. The 1000 players complain about the 8000 players having more experience and the 17000 players complain that the 1000 players have easier levels. If you take away everyone's badge it won't be quite so obvious.
