I agree, been thinking about quiting. Even the pink levels have become hard and boring. Thinking about quitting. It's not skill anymore, it's spending lots of money or hoping for a lucky board.

Candy crush is both skill and luck you need a little bit of both to pass these hard levels. Been playing off on on now for 11 years now I am at level 17361. Never start over you will still have the same issues just keep pressing through your levels. I was stuck on a level it was some level in the 5,000's. Stopped playing and about a year later I started to play again I finally beat the level and I won 750 champion races in a row. To get were I am at today.

Have you ever tried starting over recently @Anthony7? I just wonder as you suggest that this is not a good strategy. In my experience starting over is a great strategy. The game is unrecognisable from when you played those early levels 11 years ago. It's now possible to zoom through the first 3000 or so levels and have 5000 gold bars in the bank to allow any players to continue making gold all the way to where you are on the map, in a few months, playing two or three episodes per day. The last 1500 levels of the game are always made the hardest by King, so from where you find yourself now we find that we start playing at a net loss of gold. So anyone who has accumulated enough gold up to this point can reach the end of the map. Anyone who has run out of gold is definitely screwed and really should quit as the game becomes very, very expensive (or very, very tediously boring) to play without a stash of gold bars in the account.

Excellent question Christine, that was my problem. I allowed myself to get hung up on keeping my streak going and spent all of my gold. Now I have no boosters and barely any gold. I can't get anymore b/c I can't win the level race as I'm sure others with gold are moving through much quicker than me. Normally, it can take me a couple of weeks to clear an episode race. I like your strategy, I may just give in and start over!

Speaking of which were are you at for your 2000ish game?

I'm not 100% sure about your question, but I have just passed level 2000. The first two episodes were super easy. I have two games but one of them I'll have to give up with: the iPad runs it's battery from 100% to zero in a single episode now, I think that device is pretty much on its last legs. Damn I've got over 5000 gold in that one!

Ya just wondering where you are sitting for gold. Curious to see where I end up vs your game given the different play styles when I hit 2000. Sorta a play sane vs my rather 6hour gogogogogogogo approach haha.

Don't compare your gold with mine. My test games are using some unorthodox time management to avoid having to spend anything on boosters.

So here's a stupid question. How do I delete my account and start over? I can't just remove the app from my phone and reinstall as I'm sure I have to set up a new accont.
