Has anyone else experienced a huge decline in the number of lives send by friends? I have hundreds of connections so I’m just wondering if something changed in the game.

Same here. And now when I go into friend can only pick from my contacts instead of people I don’t know which used to be the case. I did receive a friend request from someone I didn’t know. Maybe I’ve changed my somehow and realize it.
It's odd; I've seen all this discussion about life gifts decreasing, but mine have gone way up lately. I probably receive 15-20 every day lately, even if I don't ask for them.
I can't say I have seen a decline in the number of lives I received as I never use more than my five lives. What I have noticed though is a decline in the number of life requests. I used to receive between twenty and thirty requests a day but lately it has reduced to less than twelve
