Having difficulty syncing my account progress from iPhone to iPad.

tried deleting candy crush saga number of times on iPad and signed into game account. Still comes up with wrong game progress position. Tried logging out and logging in on iPhone candy crush account too. No luck!
I did it on my husbands iPad and by reinstalling the app and logging it worked for him.
Won’t work on mine! what am I doing wrong and or how to fix it?
