I am sorry this is happening to you. Candy Crush needs a stable wifi signal to function properly. If you don't have that you need to keep closing and opening the app to try to get connection to the app store back. Anyone using mobile data or any wifi that is not reliably constant is at a disadvantage in this tournament. Candy Crush breaks down even if all our other apps are working fine. It has happened to me when I was on a shared Wifi or travelling using mobile data. This game is just so data hungry! The only help is to close and reopen the app and play a level and wait for the game to reload and reconnect to the app store.
