Cheating Players In Knockouts Round 2

I was number 1 throughout the entire competition only to lose to a cheater in knockouts round 2. You say you’re actively monitoring for cheaters, but if Activision and Treyarch can’t stop the cheaters in a multi billion dollar game like BO6 what makes you so sure you can?? I think y’all need a reality check. This whole competition felt very sloppy, disorganized, and unfair.

With that kind of money on the line, not running a fair game kinda leaves them open to a lawsuit don’t ya think? A contest by definition implies that the gameplay will be kept fair and the players honest by following a specific set of rules. This in fact does seem to be the case as King themselves did issue rules and regulations for the contest and have posted several times stating that they do not condone cheating, take it very seriously and were actively monitoring contest gameplay and removing suspected cheaters from the leaderboard. I think most of these issues are simply the result of someone at King not having the foresight beforehand to actually think about the ramifications of the legal actions that they may face due to such a poorly executed contest Keep in mind that this is coming from someone with a masters degree in entertainment business..

Fair enough if that is your opinion it is a valid point. I must mention that All Stars is not actually meant to find the best player of Candy Crush. The sole purpose of All Stars is to make a profit for King. Therefore King have no interest in making this event fair. King want players to buy gold and boosters. If players did not spend lots of money to buy boosters there would be no All Stars and no prize money. In that way of course All Stars is nothing like the Olympic Games.

Well you stated it yourself, by having too many gold bars to start the tournament and not having that capped means that there was an unfair advantage going in, and that of itself makes it not a fair contest. That IS what makes it unfair. You should be winning with skill not paying to win with gold bars. The only gold bars allowed should have been the gold bars earned during the tournament itself that would’ve made it truly fair, and to address your comment about top athletes if they are using performance enhancers “drugs” to win the contest then yes I consider them a cheater too. Using gold bars you didn’t earn “performance enhancers” in the contest itself is just like a professional athlete, using performance enhancers “drugs” to win. I made it as far as I did on my own skill, merit and with the gold bars I earned in the contest itself that IS truly fair.

I have myself spent the past twelve months to accumulate enough gold bars to use to buy boosters in this tournament. I know from a previous post that you consider that "cheating" on my part. But really? Why is that cheating? Do you think a top athlete competing in the Olympics is a cheater because they spent years training for the big event?

All Stars is not fair and never will be. Rich people are at an unfair advantage: Anyone with lots of cash to spare can buy enough boosters to play at a scoring speed of 160,000-180,000 per hour. If your opponent scored more than 200,000 per hour for more than 70 out of 90 hours then yes, they were probably a cheater who was not following the Terms and Conditions of "fair play". If you joined your leaderboard really early near the 90 hour mark, then a score of over about 13,000,000 is probably suspicious.
