@QueenB I have noted that there are a lot of complaints about the distracting and annoying flashing of the new hints feature since the latest update. I don't see it in my own game so I assume it's a test group only. However as any player in that test group will switch hints off in response and that is something King won't know I would like to ask you to report this directly to the team. Here is a collection of the complaints I have read:

I'm playing on a tablet, so windows for me. Not Facebook. Maybe it's just a test group. Be glad that you don't have it.

Are you all playing on PC? I was curious and did the upgrade on my Poppy account but I see no change at all. I play on iPhone 6.
The mind boggles - who thought this was a good idea ? Do they ever consult the punters (us) ?
I turned mine off too. We'll probably get a survey from QueenB soon asking how we like it. I'm guessing there will be more "we don'ts" than "love its" in spite of the fact that lots of people always answer the surveys with love it regardless of what it was about. I'm guessing the new hints are here to stay.

It is soooo annoying… Reluctantly, I’ve turned off hints.
What is going on with the assistance flashing on them showing you their next move. It is so annoying and off putting. Been playing ccs for over 10 years now and this may be the last year if this keeps up. 😐️
It looks like you'll get your wish @Pyrospring : If they keep this new flashing nonsense then like yourself, I will be playing with the hints turned off in future!

I believe what @nannyjan6 was referring to is the latest (for me 23/24 April, 2025) which has the Suggested Move jumping around, rather than having it glow slightly - as it was previously. It is very off-putting. Especially on a small screen, like an iPhone8. Peace
Thank you for the warning @Charleyfarley ! As I always play with hints turned on I really don't want to have to change that habit just now for the last round of All Stars. Nor do I want any unpleasant new distractions! I can't see any change to hints in my game yet, so I'm hoping it's related to the latest update and if I don't update the app I might be spared until after All Stars. It's terrible timing for King to bring in such a major change. I can play without hints of course but I'm pretty sure it would affect my speed, since I'm so used to having them on.
The new hint format is very distracting. They need to put it back the way it was.
Am I the only one who thinks the new hint format is a distraction ? Maybe there’s an improvement here that I’m missing.
Appreciate I can turn these off but in their previous guise, they were helpful but not intrusive.
Today when I woke up to collect my daily rewards my all stars link was gone. Even though I passed and made it through to the final round. I played a few levels to see if it would reappear with no luck. Can I please get your assistance with this.

Since the new update I think today as it looks a bit different, every time I play a level a booster gets taken automatically it checkmarks itself anyone else noticed this?
