@QueenB I have noted that there are a lot of complaints about the distracting and annoying flashing of the new hints feature since the latest update. I don't see it in my own game so I assume it's a test group only. However as any player in that test group will switch hints off in response and that is something King won't know I would like to ask you to report this directly to the team. Here is a collection of the complaints I have read:

I turned my hints back on today and they are now back to normal. Hopefully the test is over.
@QueenB QueenB, as you can see by the comments in this thread, the hints change has gone down like a lead balloon and I suspect most people have turned off hints rather than put up with it.
Prior to the change, the hints would just highlight the row-column suggested which was useful. Now, the highlighting is animated and toggles between two or more squares. It is not only unhelpful but an unwanted distraction.
It would be very much appreciated if this change was backed out.

You're absolutely right that this flashing hint feature seems to be part of a test group, and I can completely understand how something like this could be distracting or frustrating to players who are used to a more subtle experience.

I think for some players the hint feature has changed to bouncy/sqiggly. I still have that blinking hint only like yours. We've to wait and see what it is when we get that in our game.

there is no accessibility tab on my settings. I’m seriously considering deleting candy crush as this new update is awful!
what are ya’ll talking about? I have hints on in my settings and I have never seen anything jiggle. I see the blinking all the time but never any jiggle.. but perhaps I’d find it bothersome too. I’d get used to though. I’m addicted to candy crush lol
Completely agree it is absolutely awful very distracting.
Hi. I've not got the flashing hint in my game yet. But if you don't like it, you can turn it off which means there is no hint for next move
In game go to settings then accessibility tab and turn off hints.
the new update with the bouncing notifier for the next suggested move is so incredibly distracting. Please consider changing this!

You can go to settings, and on the accessibility tab turn off hints. It means no hints, but honestly this new jiggling is so irritating that I am sure everyone will turn off hints to get rid of it.
Please stop making the game worse, King! Seems like every change you make these days makes the game less enjoyable, as if you're trying to drive everyone away from the game. The fish change was terrible, but this is even worse. Although at least in this case, there's a way to turn off hints.
I didn’t mind the subtle blinking feature for the next possible move, but this new squiggly function is ridiculous & incredibly distracting. I’ve been playing for years & because of this new function, have been motivated to comment - PLEASE REMOVE OR I’M OUT!!!

Yes, they are really annoying, aren't they? Your best bet is to turn off hints. Click on the pink cog at the top right of the game to get to settings, then click accessibility. You should be able to turn off hints from there.
