I'm on the same leader board. Itsamiracole started a new account in 2025, probably just for this contest. It's not necessarily skill but pay to win (using tons of party boosters and iflfos). I spent over 4K gold bars and was only able to gain up to 17th place and have stopped now as i started a level (8632) and instantly lost it when it loaded, so I lost my super bonus. Looks like she thing might have happened to itsamiracole as the winning streak was reset and now they area only ahead by 300k. 2nd place win streak is still big so they may be able to take 1st.
Please note that I am NOT saying that these are for sure bots. But it does seem possible for someone to create an AI bot to play Candy Crush if they have the right access to one. And with this much money on the line, one would think someone somewhere would try. So I wonder.
One would think it might be pretty easy for King to identify such bots by looking for things such as instant reaction time. (This could be coded around in the bot, but probably wouldn't at the level someone would do this.) So if there is a bot playing, hopefully it will be eliminated by King.
Anyway, thank you JohnXConnor for the updates! It is clear that most of the people on that board, such as yourself, are real people. Congrats on a great effort in the competition this year!!

Here we go with the cheating and bots as usual.
Thank you for the update! This is not the only board with that kind of pace - DragonExpress has shown a similar board. It looks like a faster pace than those of us here expected might be possible. Perhaps a new technique we're not aware of, or just greater skill.
Or another thing I have wondered - could it really be an AI? One wonders if a system like MuZero could be trained against Candy Crush. Then it should be able to outplay humans by 25%, one might think, just due to not having to think and being able to always play essentially instantly.
I hope it's not that, and I don't want to take away from the skill of any player who might simply be good enough to manage this pace. But the pace doesn't seem so far out of possible expectations that I would believe it is some sort of game exploit cheating. If it's a cheater, perhaps it's an AI (in which case there are apparently multiple playing), but it doesn't seem likely to me that it is any other sort of cheating.

The name is the no.2 in 2023 and one of the finalists in 2024.
By the way, I cannot finish 100 meters below 10 seconds, so I think everyone can do that is a cheater also😂🤣

I no longer seem to be able to access the 6 hour play for 69 gold bars. Only options available are buy 1 life or watch adverts to be awarded a life. Do I have to using a specific version of Candy crush to get the 6 hours play option? Thanks
