When you get duplicates try save them and open the 80's duplicate chest box that will guarantee you at least 2 brand new pins 🙌🏾🙌🏾
You can't swap with other players.
You can swap your own duplicates by going into the pins and then accessing the spark icon with the exclamation mark at the top right of my screenshot. There are some chests there with boosters and some of the pins will get changed to the ones you need.
So now I click on the last chest and I see this pop-up shown below. I do get six pins and indeed three of those are amongst the ones I need and move towards my collection.
Like all events in Candy Crush this one is controlled by King, so which pins you get awarded is not random and there will always be some that you won't get for a long, long time. But eventually you do get them all if you pass enough levels and if you win enough of the other events that give you pins. Good luck!
I actually think we aren't supposed to win. I only need 10 but all I get are duplicates. How do you even swap duplicates?

I’m having similar issues. I need 9 pins to complete but I’m only getting duplicates. Even when I swap my duplicates I very rarely get a new pin, they are all duplicates too. Very frustrating
Did you use duplicate pins (sparks) to collect that treasure chest rewards. 20 , 40 and 80 duplicate pin sparks. In that 80 treasure you must have atleast one rare pin which helps to complete one pin sets. I've not come across anything like yours. This is new to me. One entire pin set is empty how? You still have 2 weeks time keep going/playing. If this continues and you are unable to collect that red yeti then contact support team.

Hi. What do you mean by can't get the one you need. Did pins time frame expire? (7 or 8 weeks).
Your game should provide pins in these season pass, daily win (first win for the 6 days), episode race.
Every gamer should be able to collect all pin sets. I believe that is how it was designed.
