Anyone else feeling cheated by Candy Crush?

Yes, you are correct, the last option on the gold box will not count if you try to pass new levels or levels on the first go but you can change the final option usually twice and it will cost you a ufo or party popper to pass! They got to get you one way or the other! Make it a great day!

I can also play old levels to keep the Gold Chocolate Box going which is great. I cannot use the Star Tournament specifically for the final task if my only options available are to pass levels or pass levels on first try. After reading your comment I tried it yet again and after winning a level on first try it did not count towards my final task. I don't recall ever having a dice game. Perhaps here again our options are different for the Star Tournament and I am more curious now. Have a great day 🙂

I usually play one to two episodes per day, depending on certain events like the Candy Royale and speed events like Don't Feed the Troll and Factory Frenzy.

(Speed events usually last for one hour or less.)

Yes!! I am stuck in Candy Crush hell playing something called Star Challenge that lasts for 4 days and the levels aren’t winnable unless you pay a lot of money. Waste of my time. I am going to find a different game to play.

The star tournament absolutley counts for gold chocalate box collection, I use it every week to keep the gold box active? Also as of recently also counts for new levels on the dice game which previously it did not also you can play old levels to keep your chocolate box active as well. Never spent a penny or gold on the game and have been in the Wednesday Waiting Room since 2019

*except when they make a level mathematically impossible I'll have to give them back 10 gold for the extra moves!

I'm finding that my Gold Chocolate Box has frequently been giving me just two choices instead of the initial choice plus three changes. When I select change it just increases the number of levels to pass, which isn't possible at the end of the map.

Waiting for new levels to complete the final Gold Box task doesn't always work in your favor. So my question is, why doesn't The Star Tournament consider level wins for completion of the Gold Chocolate Box?

I agree I think fairness of King depends on what the player thinks is fair. For me, I no longer have any expectations. Since Allstars 2023, King Customer Care has been nonexistent with this game. I have gotten more help from members within this Community, but do they really have any influence over customer care issues? My response would be NO.

I've started playing Solitaire, and I'm enjoying it. King's customer care does respond instead of the automated reply, which is great.

Hi Colleen, The star tournament counts for everything except new levels. When it asks for new levels I just change it until it gets to a booster I have or colored candies. So I'm always able to complete the box. I do like that as long as you complete it that it's starts another one right away. The box is something I get always. King being fair is kinda up to the player. Would you know or think they are not fair if you were not on this forum? Lol I didn't until a few years ago I actually was amazed at what I had been missing. King is so wrong! You have a great day to. Sorry for the long post.

Have you tried playing the Star Tournament for a bunch of levels? It seems definitely not possible to win every time without boosters on those levels, but I find I can win them without any boosters except watched ads at the end for extra moves about 40% of the time, after practice. I don't think it's because mine are easier than yours; I think it's because luck allows them to be won surprisingly often, if you give it a chance.

And since the Star Tournament is different in that win streaks are meaningless and unaffected, you can keep trying over and over until you run out of lives. So I find it a fun way to pass the time. I normally never use any boosters or gold bars to play it, but it's fun to see how many levels I can complete that way, and I've won my group quite a few times without ever using any inventory.

That's interesting, I definitely need Gold Bars and/or Boosters to pass levels. If you and @Boybinary do not need them that is awesome. Considering that players do not play the same game despite being on the same level is not surprising, but is it really fair?? Perhaps this is why we never compete in the same Episode Races despite your player icon showing up on my episode player screen.

I still do not play the Star Tournament because this still requires too many Gold Bars and/or Boosters to pass. This tournament does not count towards the Gold Chocolate Box or any other event, which is unfortunate, and the rewards are definitely far less than what I would use so I just wait for new episodes each week.

I take this opportunity to thank God and heavens for 1. I'm not at the end of map. 2. When and if I'm at end of map i pray to god to not end up on cookiemae group for episode race. Because she is like oh the episode race is here then like whiz past 🏃‍♀️ all the released levels even before i contemplate how best I can win 1 new levels without losing my sanity 😁. @cookiemae you are really next level.

I have not had the casino or ads on my windows or my Facebook yet but hopefully they will fix that soon for me. We definitely are not all playing the same game. I assume with so many payers the team for whatever reason can't do all of us at once. It's just kings way.

Hi @LEVICITA This is a really annoying feature of the game: It blocks pre level boosters for some levels, the pop-up tells you that "this level does not affect your win streak", but that is exactly all it means: your win streak. All other features that also require us to not lose any level, such as Candy Royale and the super colour bombs are still lost if we lose those levels. It really does only mean "win streak", i.e. the candy necklace.

I really think it's up to king how and if we need boosters or gold to pass the race. What group we may be in because whenever I get it I have not used boosters or gold to pass. I believe @Boybinary is the same. Since we all on the same level now I have been getting it and have not used any boosters or gold. It's 45 plus the extra 7 that I posted earlier so I'm very pleased at the moment.

This is really awesome. The last level didn't affect win streaks. I got the super ball at 9 in the morning and now I'm going to start another race and it tells me I've lost the booster. I spent a ton of gold bars to keep it and now this? You can really laugh with us, NEVER at us.

Not sure what level you are at, I am at the end of the map, but my episode races are definitely not passable without Boosters and Gold Bars. If I wanted to stay on a level for weeks / months I'm sure I would eventually pass but I never start an episode unless I'm prepared to finish it in the same day. Have a great day 😊

Thanks for your honest reply. In panic i bought lolipop and free switch using gold bars. I was about to lose an episode race. If i lose then I've to go back to 20 gold bars then 25 and then 30. Thats the reason I bought. After buying i was sad for next two days. ( 178 gold bars is nearly 3 episode race and 3 chocolate box). I still don't know whether buying lolipop and free switch is smart move or not. That's the reason I asked. Thank you once again for replying. I think I should sit and collect those by watching ads.
