Gold Season Pass price

I'm more than upset, Gold Season Pass went up from $2.99 to $4.99.

King.com, some of us spend $$ buying power-ups to pass almost impossible to pass levels, was the raise in price really neccessary when your company has revenues of over 20 billion? What used to be a fun way to pass time has now become an investment. Please consider going back to the original price, this world has gone bad with all the price gouging going on and now you too?

I've had mine for the full 24 hours, of course. You don't have to play any levels to keep it, just to not fail any, so how long you keep it means nothing. You could just play one or two levels in 24 hours!

But seriously, during the final All Stars round I gained the super charger at the start and played for 24 hours non-stop winning every level. In fact the super charger did disappear a couple of hours before the end for no reason I could think of. Did I care? No. Did its loss make any difference to my playing speed or scoring speed for purple candies? No. Did I have to use more boosters to pass every level…..um, maybe yes. On the whole though the super charger is there to encourage players to spend money, trying to keep their win streak at all costs in order to keep it. The purpose of the super charger is for King to get richer. If the purpose was to actually help players pass levels and enjoy the game then why are King not offering it in the shop to buy with money or gold?

It's not what it seems and it's overrated.

this gold pass reward from season pass what happens if you hit the button to accept?
I’m sure it could be deceptive and don’t want to hit the button as it doesn’t explain beforehand. Anyone know?

Who in their right mind, especially top level players, is going to pay $4.99 to get a game where the booster prizes feature 4 levels with timed boosters.

The gold Season Pass has changed slightly, with 2 party poppers instead of 1 , which I assume is the reason King have increased the price. I totally agree with you that the price is too high. I used to pay for the gold pass occasionally myself but would never spend more than £3 on any offer. King adjust prices according to what is profitable for them, and my guess is that this price increase is a test for the time being, and -hopefully- if they find that not enough players are prepared to buy the gold pass at the new offer price they might revert it back to the old one or come up with a better deal.
