By the way, my time for today was 51:49.350 due to some levels not having any orange candies spawning (only occurring during Sugar Crush).

I don't have any problems finishing this event before the timer runs down to zero. That part is easy with good time management. However the question is how many episodes do we have to play to get the reward? In my game at level 1300 I have to play two full episodes to get to 2500 orange candies. In my game at level 8400 I managed it in just one episode. That seems more of a discrepancy than I saw for purple candies during All Stars. I was very pleased though, since I really am not prepared to play more than one episode per day on that account. Those mid range levels have been nerfed to be really hard now. They have fewer moves right now than ever in their years of existence.
Failing multiple times can cost you precious seconds, you know. My time for today was 39:43.166.
This side game is nothing more than a nuisance, especially if you are on the highest levels.
Absolutely no chance of getting the required candies in the time allocated.
I completed an entire episode (15 levels) and with only 3 minutes remaining, I still required nearly 1400 candies.
All it does is count down valuable seconds on timed boosters. I'd say a deliberate ploy to minimize timed booster use.
Just another nail in the coffin of this failing game.
Keep in mind that the event does not start at the same time for most players. The event starts like this after completing at least one level. Simply opening the game will not start the event right away.

The bar is shown, showing how many candies to collect. One orange candy equals dealing 1 HP damage. Reduce the Troll's HP to zero before time runs out to win all the rewards.
Failed attempts do not result in time penalties but will not deal any damage.
If no slices are eaten, the time will be recorded below.
I stopped bothering with this when they changed it to passing new levels only. It's now an absolute pain if you don't remember to start it off around 2 hours before actually playing your game. As all it does is pop up after every level and knock time off daily win boosters, or any other timed boosters. Used to be a fun side game now it's just a nuisance for many of us š¤Ø
2000 and 2500 is achievable.
2800 is tough for me. Last week I collected 2600 with 1 minute left. However, you can take your time on the last level to maximize your collection if there are orange candies on this level. I managed to collect 2800.
3200 is a joke. I don't even want to try.
I'm not sure about competing for the fastest time on this event because it follows the time set on our phones. I haven't seen it in my games for months.
My best time was 21:26.033, acquired on 5/9/2025. The clock stops as soon as the last orange candy is collected.
The one time I managed to get the party booster successfully with just new levels was when the goal was just 2000 orange candies, which was a couple of months ago. It was during some sort of competition, so I was running 2 episode races back-to-back, and I think I needed something like 17 levels to finish it.
Hi. I also got 3200 orange candies once. It happened when i won daily win 6 stickers plus weekly contests prize. I thought just because I won two things they increased the number of orange candies from my usual 2800 to 3200. Other times it's normally 2800 candies only.
I tried a couple of times for 2800. It took me more maybe an hour with almost 2 episodes to complete. That's why when I saw 3200, I don't even want to try it. I assume it will take more than 2 episodes to fill the order.
I agree with @PyrospringI was going to ask the same thing @quekkc . I was surprised to hear you got the 3200 version since I know you are playing in 17,000s range. I would not expect those levels to have so many orange candies. I thought many levels there would be of a mix of colours. Am I mistaken? Do you know how many levels it took you to get to 3200 orange?
I would be curious to see if this is actually that more difficult than the 2200, 2500 or 2800. I noticed this weekend that they seemed to play the same requiring about the same number of levels. The time to complete was generally the same as well.

I just played and beat 5 levels in a row and got a whopping 136 orange candies, how the heck am I supposed to get 2800? Seems like itās absolutely impossible
Don't feed the troll has become useless ever since King removed the option to win orange candies with old levels
Before it was easier, but recently after the latest update it is impossible to win

Ads that start with scrolling green line across bottom and green OPEN rectangle "crash" most of the time. Only the green line ones have problem. Problem: ad plays, x appears top right corner.
