This is an interesting point you are both making. It never occurred to me that players might mistakenly assume that if they gave a life it would come from their own stores. But yes, perhaps this is something that might help players new to the game make more friends and be more generous with giving lives. Could you pass this on to the game team @QueenB ? I think that to add a clear message to players that giving lives will not cost themselves any lives would be a welcome and easy change to the game. A lot of the events and their instructions have been made much clearer recently, but the giving and receiving of lives is still not quite clear.

I agree. I only found this out when I had an extra life at bedtime and gave a life to someone who had requested one. I was surprised that it didn't take one of my lives away. Since then, I have been giving lives to all my friends, both those that request them and those who don't.
