Until now the amount of additional moves offered after not passing a level was increased by 5 with each try. Now it stays the same. Is it a glich or will it be like this from now on?

It may be a glitch or a temporary test King are running. I have read some posts like yours over the past year, but so far I have not heard from any players who have had this issue for a very long time. Hopefully it is only a short test run for you and you will get the normal version of increasing moves offers again soon. If you don't, please do not buy more than one set of extra moves as this would send the wrong signal to King. It's better to pause playing for a few days if you get stuck on one particular level. Check if your game returns to normal on Monday. If it does not you could complain to Player Support, best done via the app: Go to settings (the small pink cogwheel at the top of the map screen) then then Help Centre (with the ? icon) and scroll through all the options until you see "contact us" at the bottom. It would be great if you could inform us when/if your game returns to normal, thank you!
