I beated the first one easy in my first try
Hello @rainbow3224A This is Petal Peril, and event which replaces the last level of each episode with a difficult one where you are expected to spend gold bars for extra moves. It seems to show up earlier than usual in your game.
Candy Crush is a gold budgeting game. I see that you have spent 10 gold already. Please don't spend all your gold this early in the game! You need to keep a healthy positive gold balance to play Candy Crush and have fun with the game. When you get to the legendary levels at 200+ you will need gold bars to pay for extra moves. Do not ever pay more than 10 gold bars to pass any one level. Often the game will let you pass easily on your second or further attempt.
The outcome of each game board is pre determined, so if you fail a level it is what was written into the game by King and not your fault, there is nothing you could have done to pass a level set to "fail". The next time you might get luck in how the candies drop for you and you may pass easily, so it can be wise to let go of a win streak and replay a difficult level until the boards get easier.
You need to try to make gold by winning the episode races which should have started for you now. The opponents are not real, they are recordings. Don't worry if these fake opponents are ahead of you. King pick players from their records to give us a sense of urgency, but you can win the early episode races easily if you play one episode per day.
