I’m sure this has been addressed before but would someone be able to confirm that, if you change device but retain your account, you will retain your gold stash but none of your boosters.

You need to do this when you set up the new phone, so I hope it's not too late. With Apple devices there is the choice to just copy everything onto the new phone using bluetooth I think (but it might be via icloud I'm not really sure how if works) I'm not a computer expert in any way, but when I set up my new phone and held the old one near it the device gave me that option straight away to just copy the data from the other phone. It's by far the simplest way to set up a new phone and it means that all of Candy Crush is copied as well, boosters included.

So does anyone know how to do this, i.e. transfer to a like device without losing your boosters ?
If you use apple devices both old and new you could transfer ALL your inventory with your gold bars. I don't know how to do it but I read here in this community.

And, you are correct that your boosters will not transfer to your new device because they are stored locally on individual devices. However, if you keep your old device and have not deleted your game app on that device, you can continue to use the boosters on your old device.
