Cannot play due to map screen corruption

Since last weekend I haven't been able to play as the main screen appears to be only half loaded. I'm using a Fire 7 tablet. Have uninstalled/reinstalled, cleared cache etc. (Have now lost my progress ofc). See screenshot. Could it be because of a game update failure, the last update was a few days ago and it hasn't worked properly since.😟

It seems that other Fire users have the same issue.

Level 11069
I am not getting the 50 yellow candies to show up which are needed to get past level. Have purchased max amount of extra moves and NOTHING
