Are people agreeing with me that the new ad policy is way overwhelming?

I need to click 6 times and the overall length is close to 1 min.

Truly I started to avoid them as much as possible while before I was clicking on every ad

And I am playing for 8 years now

Yes, the new ad flow feels excessive. A possible fix could be shortening the steps or offering a “skip all” after a few seconds. Have you given feedback through the in-game support? That might help if more long-time players speak up.

I have found that the ad types go in waves. Sometimes they are long and annoying, with many click throughs. And sometimes they are short and easy. Right now I am actually getting a lot of 5 second ads, which is amazingly wonderful (and even one ad which appears to be buggy because it lets you click through instantly! but sadly I only get that ad 1/20 of the time), but also some longer ones. It varies day to day and week to week. Probably if you wait, at some point they will get better again.

I think this may be an issue with ads in general, which seem to have evolved. I know of some other games that include ads and those are also getting more annoying and include too many clicks before you can get out. Many take you to their website automatically or to the app store which I hate. I wonder if this is self defeating in the end as the more annoyed people get by ads the less likely they will pay attention and buy that particular product, but I might be wrong. I find those bullying tactics unbearable and won't play games with such ads in them.

We have a process for reporting malfunctioning video ads HERE (←hyperlink to article in Help Center) and I have had good response from Player Support to resolve issues. Unfortunately, I don't think the process can be used for ads that work properly.
