Cooling time has been introducing in different kinds of chocolate box. 24 hours after the Elite chocolate box appears, this means you can’t start another one less than 1 day.
5 minutes after the Gold chocolate box appears:
The waiting period was a thing a year or so ago, although I don't think it was always 24 hours - sometimes it seemed like it was just an hour or so. But sometime maybe about a year ago the waiting period went away. Now I guess it's back. Very similar to what they did with Don't Feed the Troll.
thanks for the reply. I’d had the weird transitions between 25 gold and 30/40 “elite” gold but it never really had a rhythm to it. Seemed odd

Hi @3family no it isn't new for a lot of us. I've been getting it for months, it lasts about 3 days giving me 40 gold bars if completed. Then I get the 4 day untimed Gold Chocolate Box back giving me 25 gold. Something else King have started doing instead of taking notice of all the feedback being sent on things that desperately need looking at and fixing to make the game fun again.
