What does "Gold Inventory" mean? This is complete nonsense. I can't store more than 200 gold coins. Candy Crush Saga is getting ridiculous. This nonsense needs to be removed immediately.

It's really scary. Are there any further posts on Reddit about this? How much gold did the affected accounts have?
Regarding events, if you win a hefty amount of gold, you'll just temporarily exceed the cap and will be forced to spend your gold before you can earn more. So this consideration certainly won't stop them.
This is indeed scary. I have a new account I can test this out on. If I get the cap….. I still think the idea is absolutely bonkers. But I'd trust these guys to do anything now.
Sorry for reviving but I'm seeing a few more accounts having the 200 Gold Cap and none of them had previously 900K Gold. Just make sure this won't be rolled out to everyone as this can hinder some events that can give more than 200 Gold bars like the pins event in where getting a platinum trophy gives 240 gold plus 4 of each booster (Minus Party and Striped Brush) and 240 Gold is more than the 200 Gold Cap.

I agree that the video is a great improvement and it even gives us some indication as to what we might need to achieve (and practise) if we were to give it another try next year. The presenter was a bit over the top and seemed out of place though. She reminded me of someone at Cbeebies (the BBC pre school channel).
The long AllStars video is excellent for promoting the event. In my opinion, it was a huge improvement over previous years. Your analysis was very accurate, as always. The beauty of Candy Crush is that it allows different play styles, and no single one is perfect.
If you don't have 900, 000 gold bars then you need not worry. The amount of gold is capped at that amount.
This GOLD CAP is really a game killer ... What did we mortals do to earned this game cap? Is it because we did not spend on buying gold bars?

Thank you so much for pointing out this video! I am surprised King have published the event in such detail this year and watching it was enlightening. Not just by seeing so many ill at ease faces of adults being put in a pre school type of event set-up. More importantly I managed to take some screenshots to slow things down to analyse, and the difference between Ingrid's style and Tiago's method could be seen. Did you notice how Ingrid is a speed crusher and went down a lot more quickly through the moves early on in the final, whereas Tiago was an analyser who was looking for the "best move" early on and throughout the level, and then overtook Ingrid when he was rewarded with some great cascades. I spotted some opportunities that Ingrid missed. Really interesting!

It's funny, they are not playing an IDENTICAL level in same competition, I don't know why King not made it even fairer.🤔
Michimune, how do you know this about the three levels in the finals? Is there footage of the play? I would love to know more!
I always figured from what we knew that the live finals were probably essentially a lottery that used Candy Crush as a way to essentially draw random winners, since the skill level was likely to be of minimal importance due to the format of the live finals.
The levels are boring and pre determined, so there is no skill factor left in this game at all.
No skill factors left in this game for passing levels recently after many changes happened to this game.
I am totally agree with Christine.😆 It's not only I am a die-hard fan of her, but also by the fact after I have watched the full version of the Live Final of the All Stars 2025.
If the game needs many skill factors to pass levels, the ten finalists come from 1.5 million players around the world should be the most skilful players, but what is the performance of them to pass three levels without party poppers and UFOs?
One of them even failed all three levels, but these three levels not seem to be legendary levels and she was the 3rd place on last year😔
I wasn't being serious @HM100 . It's what King would want players to do! I certainly would never recommend anyone buys those offers! The whole idea of limiting a gold inventory is gross and as I said above, it would kill the game for just about all of us, once and for all.
What King don't get with this kind of change is that players needs a reason to play Candy Crush, a purpose for playing, a goal. The fact is that for many of us the goal is to accumulate gold for free. The actual game is just so boring. The levels are boring and pre determined, so there is no skill factor left in this game at all. The only skill used to be to make free gold. There is absolutely nothing of a reward for reaching the end of the game or progressing along the levels. Winning leaderboard events can be kind of satisfying, but outside of these what is the purpose of playing Candy Crush? For me and for many players the entire purpose of playing is to make gold to then use it to help win leaderboard events. If this is not possible the game becomes meaningless.

I saw that and tried to explain it impossible to have that amount of gold. People actually believe it. It was someone that probably hacked the system. I'm thinking since king knows the amount of gold we have that this 200 might be for a player that has a really usual amount of gold. I do not think this will be rooled out to all players. 900,00 was a red flag on that persons account.
