Why is when I request lives on my laptop are they being sent to my phone?

I can't say for sure that I have a definitive answer for your question @Mom_0217 but something similar used to happen to me when I used three devices to play the game.
I had the game installed on a phone, a tablet and a laptop. I first downloaded the game on my tablet and it seemed to me that no matter which device I requested the lives on the lives were always sent to my tablet.
If I had one hundred lives saved on my tablet then the lives requested would go to either my phone or laptop.
Did you download the game onto your phone first.
As I said this is just a guess on my part.

Your requests for lives from your laptop should appear in your phone's Candy Crush game because the game uses your Facebook account to connect your progress across devices. To ensure this works, check that you have a stable internet connection on both devices, that your Facebook app permissions for Candy Crush are up-to-date (they expire every 90 days), and that your game on both platforms is updated to the latest version.
