34 of my friends are at level 20,000 or more.

So checking win streaks I have found most streaks are at 1 or 0.All of these players play everyday. Out of the 34 only 2 people have more than 100 win streak and 1 person has over 1,000 and they are not a facebook friend.so I cannot have any contact with that person but if I did I would definitely ask How is this even possible? Used to be they at most before the 18,000 had 500-600 wins. King has really made it hard for high level players to keep the win streak.Its just odd that it has changed so much that the top players cannot even have at least a 5 or 10 streak now..I get some really good boards and play and read the boards very well but I am finding I need to replay some levels now. Ok I was kinda bored tonight.😀

I had a decent win streak @cookiemae a few months ago, but through no fault of mine I was zapped back to 0. Built it up again and was zapped back to 0 again. I'm not in the least bit bothered about a win streak but it's something else with the system that doesn't work properly. So again the Player Cards are still not worth taking any notice of 🥺

That's interesting @cookiemae . It's always good to hear some statistical info from other players. I agree with Nobody1 that keeping a win streak is possible at the top of the map. You need to have lots of boosters and gold to fall back on, and players who do can use these to pass any level. So this is definitely a strategy for some. In fact I am surprised so many of your friends have such a low win streak. We all use different ways of playing Candy Crush and methods to survive at the top of the game. Both your method and that of win streak huggers is probably equally effective.

Hi, cookiemae! It is quite possible to run up very large win streaks above 20000 if you use ads to get boosters, like I do. You can simply force your way through every level with lots of boosters. I almost never even get to the point of being out of moves, because I am afraid an ad glitch will mess up my streak.

I would have a several thousand win streak right now if it weren't for 2 things I did wrong:

Risking ads for extra moves. I don't do that anymore. The last time I lost a streak for this was over 1000 levels ago.
Not realizing that sometimes it slams you to the first new level, even though you clearly clicked the last level that you already completed. I did that once about 700 levels ago, but didn't understand that was what I did. Then I did it again 135 levels ago (I currently have a 135 win streak), and finally understood what I did because I noticed what the orders were, and they matched the new level, not the old one. So hopefully I can avoid that mistake too.

I hope to get in the thousands now by avoiding these 2 mistakes.

Without using lots of boosters I think you are right, it's very hard to have a long win streak. I see the same sorts of win streak numbers that you do with other players on my map - most have a 0 or 1 win streak.
