sorry if this is old news, but it’s the first time my chocolate box options have included “in new level wins”
I really don’t like this development (considering that some of the week some of us don’t have new levels to win…)

I’ve 43 pins to get. I had been spending sparks at 40 to extend it, but yeah I might have to go with 80 and the guaranteed new one. Still nearly 4 weeks to go though so I think I’ll be OK

I too got the new chocolate box. Large numbers of orange and purple candies on the first 2 options - I'm sticking with 9 free switches which was the third option.
It will be interesting to see just how bad it will be to navigate these at the end of the map. I know it will be bad, but I'm curious how bad. I'm a little worried now about having trouble getting all the platinum pins. I have 34 to go, and at the end of the map, most of them come from chocolate boxes. Could be rough!
Oops, I forgot to say that my last task won't work if you use timed boosters repeat the same level to failed it. But, I forgot to test it on old level to pass it and see what happens.
Not including timed boosters for the blocks/strips/colour bombs is rubbish IMO because we often get them so they’re actively barring you from completing the task
It pop out this then comes the new version.
I changed task.
So I used 7 free switch. Actually I have 30 minutes of Lollipop.
Second chocolate all the first three tasks I got collect xxx in new level wins. Then, the last one got what I want, use 5 Lollipops. So, I used my timed Lollipop on a new level and failed it 5 times.
I stop here because I want this and I don't want to use boosters. So, done this task again.
The last task is tricky because if you use timed booster on old and new level it won't work. I'm still not sure how to complete this.
it’s been like this Saturday. Collected 2,286 purple candies in an episode win and haven’t been able to add since as I’m at the top of the map
So we’ll see what level I drop to on Wednesday before I get a chance to play new levels
All 4 options for me at the last chocolate were “in new levels won”. I think a fairer option might be in “new levels played”
Guys, mine is changed today. Just now done the gold version one and it pop out the instruction for chocolate box.

I do feel for you @Charleyfarley and everyone else who has this stressful, unrelaxing Chocolate Box. I haven't had it yet so can't really comment, but @3family who started this thread was on the Silver Chocolate Box.
I got these options for the last chocolate today. One of them required using (any?) in-level boosters, the other double color bomb combos. The latter can be completed on old levels.
So far, all chocolate boxes have had at least one chocolate that only had 'collect something on new levels' or 'use booster' tasks, and one box had two (!) such chocolates.
I haven't seen the task that @Charleyfarley mentioned so far, so unfortunately, I have no idea how it works. What is the 'free lives' option?
I'm sorry I cannot comment as I have no game which sees this version of the chocolate box @Charleyfarley .
Not sure if this info has already been shared but hopefully it might be of some use.
I’m on the 4th choc - a proper mission to get this far - I did get lucky with the 3rd though. I chose 7 lollipops and won the weekly contest (a rarity) which had a 20-min lollipop award 🙂
On the last choc, I went for the ‘choose any (36) boosters before levels’ option. The associated task icon shows a colour bomb, a wrap/stripe and a lucky booster. It’s not ‘any’ booster, worse still seems to be only colour bombs that count. I will try the coconut wheel when it appears but I’m not hopeful.
I can confirm that it doesn’t include timed boosters but it’s possible, given the above, colour bombs might be the exception.
Has anyone chosen the ‘free lives’ option ? And if so, was it easy to attain ?
Does anyone know if these new chocolate box options apply to all flavours or just the gold version ?

I guess this applies to the tasks that require new level wins unless I'm mistaken
my screen remains the same without the chocolate box being visible in between games. After playing a level, old or new, the box will appear. Also, the super booster is not visible, although it is there when completing the four levels to claim it & for new levels. I cannot check to see how much time I have left for it.

Well, it couldn't get any worse then, could it! The only hope is that this test gets abandoned ASAP. What a joke this game has become!
@christinewupp failed levels unfortunately are not included
I am also curious to see it and try it out. However I think the idea is flawed. Assuming that failed levels count as before I would look out for a lucrative level and then try to fail it repeatedly until the order is complete. That might bring some life back into this boring game. But it can't be what King intend with this change.
Don't have this yet but if I, I will try to do my best on these too. Though collecting 2600+ candies from new levels can be tricky but as I get used to how Don't Feed the troll event, I don't have issues. Seeing that Red Candy collection is back (Though on new levels) and red is less common, it is good to see that it is in a lower amount than the rest of the color collecting tasks.

On 28 of December I paid by paysafe 2.99 for a booster pack two times and neither received the booster nor got my money back. The same happened on 30 of December with a 3.99 booster once this time
