sorry if this is old news, but it’s the first time my chocolate box options have included “in new level wins”
I really don’t like this development (considering that some of the week some of us don’t have new levels to win…)

I had always assumed it was midnight at King's time, which I assumed was Malta. But I never had looked up Malta's time, and that was not correct - I see that now.
It refreshes (for me, at least) at midnight UTC time, which is 8pm for me since I am in US Eastern time zone. This is because of daylight savings time; in the winter the refresh time for me is 7pm.
One thing to be careful of is that it doesn't always refresh on its own at that time. You may need to kick it, by completing an old level or getting out and back in, to make it refresh. You shouldn't trust it to work unless you see it in your events tab again.
Hi tee with me I played level a few times before I passed it, but when it showed the chocolate box it only counted 1 freckle even though I had played a few times with the booster running. So to me it seemed to only count the 1 colour bomb when I finally passed and not the ones where I had failed.

I'm just wondering about this new win streak bag requirement: Essentially in practice it is identical to the old crowns one, is it not? I wonder if they are replacing this option now as they are getting rid of gold crowns in the game?
That sounds like a real clever way to get the most out of the daily stamp @Nobody1 . I am still not clear on how to do this myself. As the daily stamp gets collected it disappears from my events, so there is no way of knowing when it will refresh. It does not follow our devices of course, unlike the daily win. Does it refresh at the same time as the booster wheel and the daily treat machine? That for me is midnight I think. Is it different in America?
The win streak booster bag is counted as 1 after you passed one level although your win streak is max.
might as well update mine today. Got through two chocolate boxes. Had posted I was waited on about 600 “new win” purples and this took about 6 levels today. However I then didn’t need to spend anything for the rest of the box. 3rd choc was stripes. Last choc was 27 color bomb + color bomb combos
Next box was stripes, wrappers and color bombs before getting this
thankfully, “choose any boosters before levels” works on old levels AND allows use of (at least) color bomb, wrapper + stripe and coconut wheel
I played around with the different options on old levels near the start and I could use all 3 and have all 3 count towards the goal. So if you have a ton of these boosters, this will be an excellent option for you. Play 11 old levels with 3 boosters and you’re done. Even the fact you can use coconut wheels is enough for me tbh. Realise playing 32 old levels might be boring for some but I will never use all the wheels I have so it’s worth it for me
Now on box #3 choc #2 and it’s 2770 blue in new wins. I completed episode 1 so I’ve 785 done so far (from about 4/5 levels) so I don’t think I’ll need more than one episode for this tomorrow/Saturday when I next attempt it
So I finally got the new levels and did my 960 red candies in new level wins today - it fortunately only took 10 levels to complete them. That was the first item in my gold chocolate box. I then completed that chocolate box, did a second chocolate box, and got through the first two items of my third chocolate box while completing the episode race. But the third item on that third chocolate box once again had what happened to maggie_c above me - all 4 options were collect <some color of> candies in new level wins. So now I'm stuck again with needing 2460 green candies in new level wins. Sigh. At least I still have 3 episodes left before the end of the map.
I've been taking to doing the episode races over the King calendar day change, to get 2 stamps per episode. So I will wait until Friday evening to do the next episode (and hopefully complete the chocolate box).
All things told, the new chocolate box is actually more fun, except for the fact that you get stuck when you don't have new levels left to finish an item, with no option to change. I like the variety - it's even more variety than a year ago when they had things like licorice and red candies and fish. But the fact that it's so much easier now to get stuck is not fun, and I prefer the old one just because of that.
I went thru the options - they all require “new level” candies to count. This makes it impossible for me as I don’t even have enough new levels to acquire them (I usually finish the map). I guess Candy Crush just doesn’t want us to have an honest chance of completing the chocolate boxes☹️
Agree now the event tab and chocolate box is gone also hate the change to the train with no lives
From ads, yes. From friends, I haven't tried, but I guess yes.
Does this also count the extra moves from ads and friends? I guess so.
If possible, chocolate box should not give out tasks that need new levels if a player is at the end of the map so all players are allowed to finish out this event.
If you can pass the levels with ease, then you can progress it otherwise the only way is to let the box finish and make a big break that will give you some extra moves for some levels
same here! Its awful, especially considering ive been stuck on the same level for almost 3 days now makes it worse
do not like the new chocolate box challenges i have been stuck on a nightmare level for days now nothing seems to help even saucers not helping, so the only way i can get boosters is the chocolate box now that is not an option if i am stuck does not give me the incentive to play the game which i have done for years
How many more complaints about the latest chocolate box revisions do you need to see before you back them out ?
