No boosters

Hi, I'm Tina, I've noticed there are quite a bit of new things and changes going on in Candy Crush than there were when I quit playing a year.ago.or so. If I remember correctly he thing as that all levels are winnable without boosters. Is this still the case? Thank you

Hi there Tina @hugyourdog . I am currently running some tests on the early levels, but I am also playing at levels 4000+, 10,000+ and I had a game that played all the way up to level 20,000. King will not answer this question, but I can offer some insight.

You are absolutely spot on with what you have noticed. King seem to be running some tests this September and I too noticed some changes across the boards this month. Yes, there seem to be some levels where no boosters lucky board solutions seen to have been removed or pushed back a long, long way, such as after 100 or more attempts. And I don't mean just levels near the end of the map, I mean everywhere in the game. I recently played level 114 and found that it took me twice as long (20 attempts) to get the luck to pass. Previously it would take at most 10 attempts to get lucky at this level.

It may be that the AI is struggling to adjust level difficulty without human intervention, but it may also be all due to tests run by the humans in charge, I am still not sure which one it is. It's really for us players to find out and discuss, King won't tell us anything.

I think probably the answer is this: the game is now heading that way that players are expected to use starting colour bombs as a minimum to pass the hardest levels. "no boosters" solution are probably being written out of the game, but that is my personal guess only.
