So is anyone working on a fix for a level where you need keys and the last key always drops when you reach 0? Out of moves and impossible to collect the last key. Is this level a trap or a glitch?
Hi @CatJ It's not a glitch. These levels are designed for players to pay gold to move past them. I have read some posts about such levels where the last key only drops on your last move and if you are given a lucky board it is usually technically possible to set up a cascade just prior to that last move to both get the key and pass in the same move. However, the AI is in the process of removing lucky boards from some levels, so I cannot tell you if this one is possible to pass right now or not. Usually if too many players get stuck on a particular level the next rewrite will make those levels easier. That rewrite may include such a lucky board or even the addition of moves. But there is no guarantee.
Actually now I've taken a look at it I remember playing this level recently. I managed to just get the last two toffees unlocked with one move left on a couple of attempts, but there was still no available match to finish it off, so I still had to use lollipop hammers. Yes, it still works, you can do it with one move left, but I have no idea if it will allow you to then actually pass:
Possibly it may be that the problem with this level is that the new "finish and pass" parts of the algorithms this month always include jelly fish, but of course those hate toffee, so the fish won't go for the toffee on this level. You would need a good old fashioned lucky board to pass this, with upwards pointing striped candies from the dispensers at this point.
