sorry if this is old news, but it’s the first time my chocolate box options have included “in new level wins”
I really don’t like this development (considering that some of the week some of us don’t have new levels to win…)
I'm sure I mentioned it before, quite a while ago that after playing the first new Episode the Star Tournament appeared. Could check through my posts to find when I said it, but I really cant be bothered at the moment 🙄

Not a glitch. The star tournament has been available for the last few weeks before you have completed all levels. Usually for me it appears after I have completed the 1st new levels. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it until now.
This is really interesting @quekkc and I wonder if this is King experimenting with how to help out players that are competing in certain Events when they are near to the end of map and would normally run out of levels to play.
Is there any advantage to playing the Star Tournament whilst you still have new levels left to play?
Update: All my devices are finally in sync. The star tournament is available throughout.
Probably a glitch. When I was about 8 episodes away, the star tournament suddenly appeared in my events tab on all my devices. I have gone through one round. Now in the second round, it is only available on one device so far.

I am not sure It does not say, I skipped that option, It only says win levels with 3 stars, so it could mean old levels but I did not want to risk it.
How come you are seeing the Star Tournament when you're not at the end of the game? Is this a glitch or something new King have introduced?
Is the last task "Win levels with 3 stars" meant for new levels only?
Thanks for the heads-up. I was thinking of clearing the remaining 7 episodes to reach the end. Maybe it's better to hold on. It may come in handy.
I am now playing the Star tournament since it's already available in my game.
I thought they had stopped, as I had a few 'normal' chocolate boxes for a couple of weeks than yesterday I got the new ones again.🙄
The first box was new pink candies, the second box was 60 freckles and than this the first turn was 7 hammers, so I stopped at the blue in case the other choices were worse.

Yikes, I got this box again. In my secondary game so far, where it won't make much of a difference. I'd hate to see it in my main game, but something tells me that I will soon.

Stroke of luck today for me in the chocolate box. I’m back on the old system. My 4th box was 3 UFOs and I got 15 mins of UFOs from the booster wheel so it cost me nothing for a 25 gain
While the “colours in new wins” task was too hard IMO, I did find the new one fairer on some of the 4th chocolate options (color combos, extra moves, etc)
A tweak to allow “colours in new levels” or the inclusion of star tournament and I think I’d prefer the new style. A mix of both would also help IMO
No I agree. I’ve been stuck on level 19,700 for days now and cant win rewards or gold bars cause of the chocolate box (and over a year ago the option to watch an ad to get more rewards disappeared, meanwhile I know people ahead of me still have that).
