sorry if this is old news, but it’s the first time my chocolate box options have included “in new level wins”
I really don’t like this development (considering that some of the week some of us don’t have new levels to win…)

The chocolate box used to be fun to pick the right task to help us get boosters and gold bars since we could go to different levels to help. Well, the developers have now taken that away by making us pass new levels to get the colored candies needed. It is hard enough to pass these levels without boosters or gold bars and now we have to pass them to get colored candies to help us get boosters. What a dilemma. Just once it would be nice for the developers to add something to make it fun again.
I’m on the gold box the past few days
After finishing out the previous box, I got an exchange in the Chocolate Box. First, the new UI for getting a new box and the ability to click on the box to see the versions of them were both rollbacked but the new version which makes the Candy Color Collection task be with New level wins has been arrived to me as seen in the pic below. 1st task was Color Bomb and was finished with the aid of an old level as well. 2nd task was Lollipop but as I had no time to play more, I decided to skip it and instead go with Orange in new level wins (Had Green in new level wins too)

I've changed my mind, that must be the post I was talking about, I cant believe that it was over a year ago. I know I said 'Now time goes so quick, I can't remember when it was' but that is ridiculous. So thank you for finding it and for questioning me saying it isn't the one. You've now saved me hours of searching, a headache and put my mind at rest that I had put it 👍😄
Oh right it just seems your comment in the thread I linked about having the Star Tournament before you had completed all the levels is what you were talking about.
One strange thing that did happen this week, I got the Star Tournament while I still had one episode to go. @Carol-38
No @Alienscar it isn't, but thank you for looking. Now I'm half giggling while I'm putting this, because I'm sure I did make a comment not all that long ago, and I think I tagged Christine when I put it, but I can't say 100%. I think there was a post I added to just saying I have the Star Tournament but I haven't finished all the Episodes yet. Now time goes so quick, I can't remember when it was, and I wouldn't expect Christine to remember either, as there would have been many posts she's replied to since then and it would have been just a quick comment I made/or did I. So I guess I could go through all my posts to see if I can find it/did put it. I might do that at some stage bit by bit, but I need to complete my Chocolate Box and Season Pass first 😀🙃

It shows up on my map @Nobody1 like it does when finishing all the Episodes. Don't get it every week and haven't seen it yet, but if I do I'll take a screenshot.
I didn't open a new post to say about it @cookiemae I just seem to remember adding it as a comment on another post. I believe it was quite a long time ago (possibly months) don't know what the tread was labelled as, so I wouldn't know where to start looking for it in my posts. I do get it often though after completing the first Episode. But you know me, I don't play the Star Tournament, so makes no difference to me on whether I get it or not 😉
Wow. I have not seen it. I finished the first episode yesterday and I still cannot access the Star Tournament. So this must only be for certain trial groups.
Does it show up in your Events tab, or do you just have to click on the star at the end of the map? (Neither works for me.)
I probably miss your post but yup mine has been like yours after playing the 1st episode there it was.
There is really no advantage. I had the intention to reach the end initially. However, considering the coming changes in the chocolate box task that requires new levels, maybe it's better to still keep some unplayed levels.
I enjoy filling up the chocolate box. But always playing the same old levels day after day, it becomes so monotonous and boring.
So, joining a bunch of silly players (me included) to compete for a measly reward in Star Tournament may be more interesting. Before you know it, the chocolate box tasks are almost done except the last one.
Well, in my case, I still have 7 episodes of unplayed levels as of now.
I'm sure I mentioned it before, quite a while ago that after playing the first new Episode the Star Tournament appeared. Could check through my posts to find when I said it, but I really cant be bothered at the moment 🙄

Not a glitch. The star tournament has been available for the last few weeks before you have completed all levels. Usually for me it appears after I have completed the 1st new levels. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it until now.
This is really interesting @quekkc and I wonder if this is King experimenting with how to help out players that are competing in certain Events when they are near to the end of map and would normally run out of levels to play.
Is there any advantage to playing the Star Tournament whilst you still have new levels left to play?
Update: All my devices are finally in sync. The star tournament is available throughout.
Probably a glitch. When I was about 8 episodes away, the star tournament suddenly appeared in my events tab on all my devices. I have gone through one round. Now in the second round, it is only available on one device so far.
