It's not a month anymore since I've got Legendary status back @Alienscar . I didn't know this before, but it must be related to legendary: I am now back to being able to edit everything I ever wrote, which is a huge relief to me.
Better a month than the twenty four hours that it used to be back in 2021.

Unless things have changed there is no point in tagging when you edit a post as no notification is generated @christinewupp
look in your profile settings for some reason the update deselected notification for a couple different things?

Yes it has and I can see Boybinary is Royalty again as well. That's all a relief to see all is back to how it should be then.
Still no notification @christinewupp but it looks like my player title has returned to Legend.

I got demoted to a level 3 as well! I see other people with the royalty title like I had? The new layout is backwards design 🥴🥱
Ah!!! As always you hit it spot on. Now that makes sense. I guess that means that eventually the only "legends" left here will be the people who long left and haven't logged in.
Same, yesterday I was a Royalty. This new community update caused a lot of problems. It's definitely confusing too for the first time 😕
It appears that you are demoted as soon as you log in. Those who haven't logged in for a while seem to have retained their ranks.

I also can't tag in edits now @QueenB . Please could you shed some light on why people not on any tagging list have lost their community rank but those on a tagging list have kept their ranking, thanks.
Well @Techz_3712 is royalty, I note. I still suspect it's related to being on a tagging list. All the people on tagging lists seem to have kept their ranking. You might have to remove my frog icon now since I no longer qualify for the criteria.
This is really a bad update so far. I don't see how it would be any difference tomorrow. So confusing to me but I'm pretty old and don't play on mobile. I thought @QueenB it was supposed to be easier but it's just not working for me

I am still kind of hoping our level will get reinstated. Maybe @QueenB can shed some light on this: I have noted that there are some players (some of whom joined quite recently)who have noble, champion and royalty status as seen looking at the Jellynauts thread. Is that because they were on a tagging list?
You can reply alright and I guess that's what I'll have to keep doing, just update with a new comment. It used to be like this until about a year ago, so I shouldn't grumble, but I really liked the indefinite edit option. I am not sure if it was linked to the legendary status or not. I found it personally very useful and I will now have to be careful again what I write as I know I won't be able to edit it.
Wow, no editing after a month? That's awful. This idea that old threads should just die (instead of being edited and continually replied to) basically kills the advantages of a forum over places like reddit. It seems that modern software developers have lost all appreciation for history. If things continue this way, human civilization is doomed.
Same to me though some Noble accounts exist still unless they changed requirements for higher Ranks

Oh dear, I've noted that now I can only edit my posts for one month. That is terrible and the end of my "tips" posts I'm afraid. The fact I could indefinitely update my threads was the reason I wrote them the way I did. Now I can't edit the old ones. And we know how quickly they go obsolete. Just great!

Probably everyone was reset to level 1 at the time of the switch, and now they're repromoting people towards where they were before. Also not sure if they'll ever reintroduce the higher levels.
