Why does this level in the game differ to YouTube videos that I have searched for help as am battling with this level?

i am the same as you , less moves than on utube video which makes a big difference yes not enough liqourice falling so pretty impossible the candy crush team seemed to have become ruthless of late what with the chocolate box changing and putting legendary levels right at the end and as you say less moves, i have tried like you self everything although it does seem that more liquorice fall in blocks on the top left hand side? try that, or i have to wait till the chocolate box renews and try to get to the level you get 8 gold bars and use it with the small amount i have already hope you get there
Thanks. Level 18562 is the same play but my game has 6 fewer moves than any of the YouTube videos. They show 26 moves, I only show 20. There just isn't enough licorice that falls for me to even be able to use a booster to try to clear the layers that are hidden under the licorice lock. I've even had double colour bombs, used all kinds of boosters, but not enough licorice is falling.

I eventually managed to get through this level. I cannot vouch for any special moves just had to persevere and be patient
Have found lately that there are really some tough levels that really test your patience and just by pure luck one eventually succeeds
I carry on trying and when eventually struggle too long will check a YouTube video for any special clues

Were you able to find it? It looks to me like the level isn't possible to pass without gold bars ie extra moves because not enoough licorice drops. I'd love to see how someone got through it in a different way.

The levels in this episode were reshuffled recently to place all the hardest ones near the end of the episode. If you search all 15 levels of the same episode on YouTube you ought to be able to find this one, but its number will have been changed.
