What is going on with candy crush

I'm on level 18233. What is going on with only giving 3 extra moves on extremely hard levels? Seriously!!! Almost all levels only give 3 extra moves. The ONLY WAY TO PASS THESE EXTREMELY HARD LEVELS IS TO USE YOUR GOLD FOR EXTRA MOVES. This is pretty consistent on all hard or nightmare levels. This isn't fun or challenging because there's no way ANYONE can pass these levels with just the moves they give you or even using the 3 extra moves. What happened to getting free tools? Now we don't even get that . Very disappointing

I couldn't agree more. I've been playing cc since day 1. Enjoy it, good time killer. For a while now, some levels have gotten legit IMPOSSIBLE without using gold bricks.

Im all about a puzzle challenge. But what fun is it if they are IMPOSSIBLE to beat with the given amount of moves???

This AI has complained ruined the game. If you don't have gold you are doomed

Hello @rhavinfun . As all my accounts get offered 5 extra moves for 10 gold bars on a first attempt my guess is that you are writing about the offer from watching ads? You are lucky to still have ads at all at this point in the game, and please be careful not so spend any real money for if you do the ads go and never come back.

As for the need to use gold for extra moves: This is now a UNIVERSAL feature in Candy Crush. Even in the earliest levels under 200 there are now levels which require players to use gold to pass. The game has changed hugely in the past two years and been like this during the past year since the AI took over rewriting epiosodes. It is what I call a gold budgeting game: Players are tasked to win more gold from events than they have to spend to pass impossible levels. Players who get inside two thousand levels from the end of the game find that they hit a wall: At that point there are more impossible levels in each episode than players can pay for with gold. So to survive you need to have a lot gold still saved in our account. If you find that the benefits from ads is reduced then this is because the AI that runs the game is trying to lure you into spending money. If you pause playing for a week or two you may find that the game has changed and maybe the benefits from watching ads will increase again. It often does as the AI changes features in the game now on a weekly -if not on a daily- basis.
