Nat_Community is a game expert, although why they are updating posts that are not theirs is beyond me.
Does anyone here know what "updated by Nat_Community" means against the posts in this thread? (including my own)
in my game the star tournament counts for collecting color bombs series and keeping the gold chocolate box alive and has counted for 30x candy collection for tournaments in the past so…
I have played often and have definitely played reruns in star tournament. I just did one a few minutes ago. I am getting quite good at them. That is why they don’t count towards a lot of challenges because those challenges require a new game. King has not developed new games quickly enough so we are forced to play reruns
There are over 20,000 levels in Candy Crush. Are you honestly telling me that you can tell the difference between all these? To me they all are practically the same: Bash your way through the board with combos and then if the game wants you to pass you'll find there are some jelly fish at the end to finish the job for you. All 20,000 of them a mush of blockers requiring the same boring strategy to pass. And King's AI churns out another 60 of these every week. They all look and play like levels we've seen before, so I don't think that new levels are any different from Star Tournament ones.
I actually enjoy playing the star tournament. I hope they never get rid of it.
it looks like star tournament is just recycling old games which is why they don’t count towards all challenges. King is just too lazy to make new games so they leave those of us who love the game high and dry.
If you have a leaderboard event, then this tournament is useful as you will get x30 points. Some events like Factory Frenzy can be progressed with Star Tournament as others said months ago.
You have posted three discussions with the same title but I note from Carol's post that this was not intentional.
If you do not want to play the Star Tournament you do not have to. So getting rid of it would not be of benefit to you at all, since there is nothing else that would replace it if King got rid of it.
Getting rid of the Star Tournament would not help those who dislike it but would actively annoy those players who enjoy the challenge. However many of us have complained about it not counting towards events. Reaching the end of the game is actually really disappointing and pointless.

I agree. I loved doing chocolate box challenges etc but star does not connect to them.
All I can do instead is replay old levels.

I really do not like star tournament. Progress in star tournament does not count towards quite a few other challenges like weekly contest and chocolate box. I wish you would get rid of it.
star tournament does not add to chocolate box. As all other levels have been finished. You can’t progress with chocolate box
Star Tournament levels are in fact treated like old levels but for the most of the part like Don't Feed the Troll and Factory Frenzy, it can be used as a replacement for new levels. In leaderboard events, levels from this event give x30 points like new levels.
I don't bother with the Star Tournament @MarilynRules it's too time consuming for me and just another way to get me using boosters/gold. I know many enjoy it, so that's a good thing but I'm out 😉
