Won't let me play. Asks me to update then takes me to App Store then back to game and asks to update again. Won't a.low me to play game.

You just replied to someone who hasn't been in this forum since 2017. Please create your own question in a new thread if you have a problem as it cannot be the same issue that people had back in 2016. If you use the "ask a question" option hopefully one of the moderators will help you with some advice
I also saw the suggestion in my game today to update the app so that I can access the Music Season, but it does not stop me from playing the game. I can also see no reason why you would choose to not update the app.
If you find you still have a problem that needs fixing please post your own question about it in a new thread: Use the "ask a question" option to the right side in the support forum page.

Do these threads never expire and get removed? 2016… really? How can a thread this old still get accessed and commented on by anyone?
