Just checking if I am allowed to use this word. If I am: I am undecided about this and would welcome anyone's input or experience with the event this weekend or in the past.

Why candy royale was diseapear untill long run but still not appear?
I think a lot of players have noted that they lose Candy Royale as they approach the end of the map. I can't recall seeing it in my end of game account for many months. I am not sure if anyone sees it at the end of the map?
I won the 1500 gold bars one time. So 'tis legit for me. Now I'm at level 18400 and there's no candy royale anymore. I think at level 18000, I have not seen any candy royale. Just sad coz 'tis my source of gold bars especially now that I'm facing difficult levels each time.
Yes, it takes longer to reach the gold chest. But then after you get the golden chest it repeats forever and ever with more golden chests until the time runs out.
I thought Candy Royale disappeared for me because of Petal Peril. Maybe I need to complete 180 levels (60 * 3).
I just wrote a post on Casino Royale and posted it and it disappeared.
On 4/26 I had an Elite Casino Royale for the first time in quite a while. Previously, it had been the regular for several weeks about once or twice a week. This Elite version paid out 750 gold bars with one other winner. I was thrilled. Since that windfall, no Casino Royale now for almost 3 weeks.
You are competing against players who played not the same levels, but similar levels, whatever that means. I have a theory that other players' levels are several levels ahead or behind yours, which may explain why their drop out rate clearly does not correspond to the difficulty of the level.
As for planning ahead to play Candy Royale on harder levels, I had been doing this for the longest time and it seemed to work for me. However, roughly since the tiered version of Candy Royale came about, there seems to no longer be any correlation between the payout and the overall level difficulty. I'm unsure if it's due to changes to this event or just because of my current level range, or if there wasn't any correlation to begin with. All my episodes now have 10-12 skull levels, so they are just about the same, but the payout differs significantly.
One thing I noted before, is that episodes with win streak breaking levels, such as the ones where you can explode something too early and ruin the level, tend to give a high payout. Such levels are rare at my level range, though, so I don't know if it's still the case.
My payouts are much lower now than they were when I wrote that post. The regular version only pays out a pittance. King seem to reset their database of records every now and then, and when they do, the payouts sharply drop, then slowly grow, then drop again, in cycles.
This event is competing for other players' record in the SAME LEVELS.
If the levels we are competing for having more legendary and nightmare levels ( higher total Reward Pass points within the event ), does it mean the average payout can be increased?
For example, when I play a 12-level Candy Royale inside an episode race, if it has more hard levels located at the end of this episode, could I get higher average payout by starting this event from the fourth level of this episode than starting from the first level?
A simple step to increase the average payout?

Well what can I say? Thank you! You answered my question perfectly! Great you could share this.
Okay, I have some stats 🙂
First of all, for the past months, I have had so many different versions of Candy Royale that I have lost count. I had 3- and 5-tier versions, the jackpot ranged from 400 to 700 for the regular event and 1400 to 1700 for the Elite version, the number of levels to pass was always different, and so on and so forth. I got a new version almost every time I played it. I also played the Elite event today, but I can't even remember if it was like yours or not.
However, I calculated my winnings for a period of time starting on September 2nd and ending today.
This is what I got:
Regular Candy Royale: played 11 times, average payout 94,36.
Elite Candy Royale: played 18 times, average payout 139,39.
These stats are for all the different versions of Candy Royale I have had, and lumping them all together is not entirely accurate, but with things changing so often, that's all I can do now.
Also, I had a 5-tier version of Candy Royale for about a month, and I calculated the winnings for that period to see if they were any different from the average, and I got the following:
Regular Candy Royale: played 8 times, average payout 98,50.
Elite Candy Royale: played 9 times, average payout 136,0.
So, the results are pretty consistent, and the verdict is that the Elite event pays out more, but not twice the amount we would normally gain. I'm not sure if it makes up for having to pass twice as many levels. I just play the Elite version more often because I play more on the weekends.
Don't know if you can call it a hoax but I played today the 1700 pot with 25 levels to win. Spent 60 gold to win it and the prize was 75 gold. 15 gold it's not much but its honest work 😀
This is my experience: I played the Elite version today. This one:
Previously I had played the 12 level top tier version, the non elite standard version:
That bottom version would normally pay out about 60 -100 gold bars in this particular game. The top elite version started off promising, but the prize stopped at 84 gold bars when I reached level 12 and then stopped going up. This is not new, I have found this repeatedly in the past with the elite or double version.
What I would like to question here is if it actually pays out twice the amount we would normally gain or if it just means that we have to work twice as hard, i.e. play twice as many levels to get the same, normal payout. In which case the "elite" event would be a hoax if not a fraud. As I said, I am undecided about this. Do any of you who play and win Candy Royale frequently find that the Elite event does pay out more than the normal version?
Also do we all have this same 12 level top tier standard version of the event now or are there still various versions around?
