I'm asking anyone who can answer but also tagging @QueenB @FluffyDinosaur in case no one knows.
I know what to do to see who has responded to a post, but when it exceeds five responses this happens and I can't find a way to identify who any of them are. What am I not doing right 🤔

I know not everyone is a fan of subthreads, so it’s great to know that option is still there for those who prefer a simpler way to reply.

There is a long delay on a lot of threads showing who last commented. I've also had very long delays with being notified of either tags or someone commenting on one of my threads. One time it was over 3 hours and another time the following day. As said this may already have been highlighted 🤔
Sorry but I've got to voice my opinion again @QueenB re the Subthreads Reply. I was over the moon when the 'Most Recent by' comment was put back. But when going into a thread to read what the last person shown as commenting had put, those who use the subthreads reply comment isn't showing at the top, one has to scroll to see what has been said, and sometimes it a fair bit of scrolling. OK many seem to be using it and I guess it's going to stay, but to me and I'm sure many others it's messy and unnecessary. Why can't we just use the one reply (two eyes) under the person's label 🤔
As I've said before I won't use it and if anyone replies to me using the subthread and I want to reply I would still click on the (two eyes) to reply.
Mine is always 'Newest', and if I change it to 'Oldest', it is not memorized, even for that thread.
Now, if they could make the forum remember my preferred comment sorting setting too, that would be fantastic
I don't know if it is just me @MannyFae or something I have done but my 'sort by' for comments is all over the place. Some threads are sorted by newest and some by oldest. It is not ideal.
You would have won your bet, @Alienscar . I keep missing comments in this thread because I'm not good at reading threads backwards. Sorry in advance if I miss the next one 🙂
The green navigation buttons at the top of each thread page seem to be back as well?
Yes @MannyFae and I wouldn't mind betting that before the forum change you wouldn't have missed my comment yesterday
Well I've got to say it was real hard work trying to reply @Alienscar I clicked on the two eyes reply and everything on my screen started jiggling about, then moving up and down, flashing. Took a good minute or just over for it to actually settle and let me start typing. It was a bit like playing a level with 40 moves 😒

@MannyFae is right @Carol-38 the default selection when you first enter the forum is now recently commented, but if you change the selection it now remains on your selection as you go from board to board

Yes @Alienscar it's good to start seeing the little changes bit by bit. They could have used that as Spot the Difference instead of ⬇️
And we have the big green buttons back at the top when reading a thread @Carol-38
They might be unlabeled and the wrong size still, but at least they are back
